Praying for Security

Yesterday there was an unsuccessful attack on an Israeli convoy traveling in Jordan. This brings up the issue of security - not just for Israel as a nation - but for God's people, the Jews, wherever they may be.

• Thank You Lord, for protecting that convoy yesterday.

• Help the Jordanian police find the perpetrators and deal justly with them

• Protect Jews as they travel and make them alert to their surroundings.

• Remove from Jews in exile this false sense of security they have, that says they are safer there than here in Israel (Leviticus 26:33,38-39).

• Instill in them the recognition that You have promised them protection - when they come home to Your/their land.

Hear the word of the LORD, O gentiles; declare it in the isles afar off, and say,  He that scattered Israel will gather him, and keep/guard him, as a shepherd does his flock.Jeremiah 31:10

Behold, He that keeps/guards Israel shall neither slumber nor sleeps. Psalms 121:4
